Jenny ‘s practice focuses on helping clients manage environmental risk in their businesses as well as on other litigation matters. In her environmental practice, Jenny focuses on environmental components of redevelopment projects and other transactions. She leads diligence and advises on the allocation of environmental risk and mechanisms to manage that risk, including establishing defenses to cleanup liability, negotiating contractual protections in purchase agreements, securing environmental insurance, and performing corrective action and remediation either privately or through voluntary cleanup and brownfields programs. She also assists with transaction triggered obligations, including permit transfers and obligations under the New Jersey Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA) and the Connecticut Transfer Act. Jenny also advises clients on compliance with environmental, health and safety laws and assists with internal audits and self-disclosures through state and federal audit policies. She further represents clients in environmental, health, and safety enforcement proceedings. In real estate matters, Jenny advises on building condition issues, including vapor intrusion, asbestos, lead-based paint, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), mold, and radon, as well as directs brownfields cleanups. In her litigation practice, Jenny advises on environmental cleanup disputes as well as other real property and commercial litigation matters.
